About First Reel Academy and the people behind it
We are a small WordPress and marketing studio that has built websites and campaigns for real estate agents since 2016. Over those years we watched the same thing happen dozens of times: an agent buys a ring light, records nothing, and goes back to posting listing photos that nobody watches. The problem was never the gear. It was pressing record.

Why a course for beginners
Every video course for agents assumes you already post. They teach hooks, editing, trending audio, and posting schedules to people who have never once filmed themselves. First Reel Academy starts one step earlier, at the moment you prop your phone against a coffee mug and say your own name to it. Seven days later you have seven reels and the part of the problem that was stopping you is gone.
What we believe
A bad reel beats a perfect photo. Your phone is the right camera. You already know what to say, because you said it to a client this week. And the first video is supposed to be rough, which is why we ask you to post it before you watch it back. Consequently, the course has no lesson on editing, lighting or gear, and it never will. If you want those, there are good courses for agents who already post; this one exists for the step before them.

Questions about the course, or about whether it fits you, go to the contact page. A person answers. For the format itself, Instagram’s reels help page is the plainest description of what a reel is.
