Who this privacy policy covers
First Reel Academy operates this website and the first reel course. The contact details are on the contact page. This policy applies to visitors, to people who write to us, and to subscribers.
What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your name, your email address, your billing address, and the last four digits of your card. Our payment processor handles the full card number, so it never reaches our servers. When you write to us, we keep the email you send. When you visit, we collect the standard analytics described below, and nothing else.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded at the network edge, so no analytics script runs in your browser. It records pages viewed, an approximate location by country and region, and the device type. It does not record your name or your email address. Google describes what it stores in its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, to remember your cart, and to run analytics. This site sets no advertising cookies. If you block cookies, the course still works, but you will need to log in each time.
Who we share data with
We share billing details with our payment processor, and email addresses with our email provider for the messages you asked for. We share nothing with anyone else, and we never sell data. If a law requires us to hand over a record, we tell you unless the law forbids it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records while your subscription is active and for the period tax law requires afterwards. We delete emails to the contact address after one year unless they concern an open matter.
Your rights under this privacy policy
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address on the contact page. We answer within thirty days. Deletion ends your subscription, so tell us if you want to keep it and only remove something specific.
Changes
The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. If we change something that affects you, we email subscribers before the change applies.
